Primary Aims
- To show young people the techniques and practices to work together as apart of a team.
- To learn how to operate off road motorised vehicles within a team structure
- To act on the needs of the Community in terms of addressing issues of Youth nuisance and Anti Social Behaviour during pre – practical sessions
Secondary Aims
- To develop young people’s confidence levels and raise their self esteem.
- To identify and explore the groups perception around the misuse of Motorcycles and other motorised vehicles
Overall Objectives
- To deliver a project with young people with the use of quad bikes and off road buggies that will encourage the young people to perceptively analyse the consequences of their involvement in the misuse of motor vehicles in their community.
- To develop participation of young people with low levels of esteem and confidence, to enable them to make informed choices during this transitional period into adulthood.
- All young people were involved in learning new skills that include the operational aspects of Off Road Buggies and Quad Bikes.
Learning Outcomes:
- Challenging the views of the group around issues of off road motorcycling in local areas
- To acknowledge the values and feelings of others, including local residents.
- To develop a closer working relationship between people.
